Citizen wins the Best Open Banking Payments Project award

London, 7 July 2022 - Citizen, provider of instant cardless payments, wins 'Best Open Banking Payments Project’ award.

Citizen is delighted to announce it has won the award for 'Best Open Banking Payments Project' in the Open Banking Expo awards, 2022. This win was in light of the work we have done with charity platform Wonderful.org to create an easy-to-use and affordable payments solution that ensures Wonderful's member charities can retain all of the donations they are given. It's a payment solution so successful that Citizen are Wonderful's exclusive payment partner, showing that account-to-account payments (A2A) can be used by almost everyone across the UK.
